An ode to Anger and the Mind that created it
The Dark recesses of the mind reek,
Of the overpowering vitriolic odour of Anger;
An anger deeper than the Oceans,
Anger at having been relegated to,
The status of a non-entity.
Anger so potent that it can burn the Mind down,
And with it, what houses it.
Anger knows no distinction between the good and bad,
For it, it makes no difference,
They are all the same, the same common enemy.
The Mind that bore Anger in its poisonous womb,
Regrets not, bearing its dreadful child.
It takes pride instead, in the fact that it too is not spared,
By the horrendous destruction brought about, for it knows:
What its child wreaks is but what it wreaks, upon itself and upon everything else.

Anger is the fire that can burn even ashes. When anger overpowers you, the first thing to get affected is the thinking ability. We all know it yet we all surrender to it.
It's a beautiful writeup. And via this, me got to learn about your alternate blog. Thanks for introducing me to it.
The pleasure is mine!
Anger doest't allow one to think rationally. It's not only anger that does it...despair, frustration.etc.etc... there are so many negative feelings which I can't remember now ..[I'm in a very good mood now ;)]
By the way may I ask which blog you were reading? Hopefully it's not mine..LOL ;)
:) No, the inspiration came from somebody else's blog! Yeah, you are right about the inability to think rationally, but I feel that it is Anger that is the most destructive cause of them all.
"The Mind that bore Anger in its poisonous womb,
Regrets not, bearing its dreadful child."
Beautiful!! Just beautiful!
